Where should a stucco patch stop? On this AWC balcony project, an approved change order carried the finish from repaired pillar bases across the exposed surfaces to existing corners and termination points. That gave the affected pillars a more consistent appearance than several isolated lower patches. Taller walls attached to the house stayed within their earlier repair limits. The completion record also kept separate handrail assessment and floor color-coat touch-ups visible, rather than treating completed stucco as completion of every balcony item.
